Actually Protects You from Heat
I've used these for a few years now. They're durable, and they work. The gloves have an outer layer of silicone, which protects your hands from hot liquids and steam, in addition to hot items. Other cloth-only gloves can't protect your hands from liquids or steam. I can grab a hot glass baking dish (450 F) for 10 seconds without noticing any heat. At 20 seconds, it'll get uncomfortably hot. I haven't needed to hold onto anything longer than that.

These fit me perfectly (I'm a female with medium-ish sized hands), with a little room to spare. The length, while not overly long, works well for me. I love that they can be wiped down instead of needing to go in the washing machine. And I don't feel a bit of warmth through them, unlike my last pair that were made of a fabric material.

Will never use cloth oven mitts again. Rather than running from the oven carrying hot items, with these silicone mitts I can hold the hot item while making a phone call or doing my taxes. Seriously, they keep the heat out so no fear about taking the hottest items out of the oven. They are rather large, they are not pretty, but man they work!! Highly recommended.

Great Oven Mitts!
So far, I really like these! They are longer and sturdier than your average hand mitts. I appreciate that there is a right mitt and a left mitt...not just 2 identical mitts that leave you to just flip one backwards. I used them today to get a hot cast iron skillet that held roasting chicken for 90 minutes. I didn't feel any heat through the mitts! I was a little nervous about trying silicone vs a traditional mitt, but I'm happy that I took a chance. Silimitts are well made, and came well packaged. Just what I was looking for!

Gave these as a gift. Saw them when gift was opened and tried them on. Great gloves. Like the fact that they come quite a bit above the wrist area, giving protection to lower part of arm. This is a feature that I find important. Material was nice. Looks as if this pair would be easy to clean. Fit was good but may be a little big if you have really small hands (women). No problem for men as this was a gift for a man. Would highly recommend!!

We LOVE these mitts! They are perfect for protecting hands from the heat when grilling and for when taking pans out of the oven. They are very comfortable to wear too. I had a hard time choosing between the colors, I liked the blue and the gray too, but decided on black in the end. My husband used these the other night when grilling and he just loved the mitts! Thanks for such a great product! We will get many years of use for this both in our backyard grilling for our family and in our house. They are great quality and seem professional grade in my opinion. So glad we have these. My husband likes the length of these too. Would be a great Father's Day gift for a dad who likes to grill.

Worth the price!
I was being stubborn by not replacing my old glove. Yes, glove. A houseguest either hid, threw away, or took the other one. When I saw these, I kinda went nuts and haven't braced myself for a burn, by using a kitchen towel since. Yes, they run large. I don't care. No more burned wrists. No more crashing Pyrex onto the stove top because the heat is running through to my finger tips.

No More Burns!
The first pic shows the burns on my arms - I love to cook and bake but have burn scars from the oven. These mitts solve that problem - they fit my hands snugly enough to grab onto cookie pans and baking dishes and extend far enough up my arm to prevent the wire racks from burning my arms on the way in and out of the oven. They are tough on the outside - nice and soft on the inside. Very happy with my purchase!

Really good quality oven mitts that really protect the person wearing them. My girlfriend used to use some cheap oven mitts that weren't long enough and she accidently burnt herself. After I bought these and she used them for the first time, she was extremely happy to feel safe using the oven again. When I put them on, I was surprised by how comfortable they were and how easy it was to slip them on and off. We could barely feel the heat through the mitts when we were handling anything fresh out if the oven. I would recommend these mitts to my friends and family if they were looking for a new pair.

No More Burns Reaching Deep into the Oven!
I purchased these silicone oven mitts for a friend who recently received a very nasty burn on her forearm (she was reaching into the oven with two square potholders to retrieve a glass casserole dish from far back on the second shelf). She says she absolutely LOVES these mitts because not only do they protect her hands (the obvious requirement for any oven mitt or potholder!) but also all the way up her arms nearly to her elbows! There should be no more burns when reaching deep into the oven now! She especially loves that this product came as a "pair" because she is a "lefty" and most "single" mitts are for right-handed individuals. Also, black just happens to be her FAV color anyway, but these mitts also come in some cool colors as well. She has already had someone ask her where to purchase a set!
